Runaway grand jury (part 1)

Maybe this is a tool 'We the people" or "Tea Party" can use to "force" our government to operate upder the Constitution.

Our Constitution, Article 2 Section 4 states "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

Why is it that none of our elected enforcement officials are not going after Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed for their bribery? If the… Continue

States are the creator, the Federal Government is the created.

By now we have all heard the cliches and seen the posters from the "Tea Parties" espousing freedom, less government, and perhaps most of all, how the federal government had better back off trying to shove their national health care down our otherwise healthy throats.

The truth of the matter is all the slogans of "Don't Tread On Me" or "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death" or "We're Mad As Hell And We're Not Taking It Anymore," don't mean a thing when compared to the real and actual answer to all t… Continue

Old Hats

Sara Palin is still advertising her relation with John McCain. I think for true reform, to get back to being governed by the Constituiton, we have to discard those old hats such as McCain and Gingrich. They had their opportunity and fouled up. If the Tea Party nation wide can maintain the vision we have in Saline County and if our country can produce Candidates, those with the knowledge and attitude that they are Servants of the people, and if we set term limits on the House and Senate how can w… Continue

Saline County Tea Party Principals

The Saline County Tea Party is a grassroots, non-partisan group opposed to wasteful government spending. Our core values are fiscal responsibility, limited government, and free markets. Our goals include influencing elections for the betterment of America, promoting State sovereignty (Federalism), compelling our elected officials to comply with the Constitution as written by our Founders and educating our Fellow Americans.

The Saline County Tea Party advocates for Fiscal Responsibility, Limited Government and Free Markets. We therefore oppose the use of federal funds for local projects. We believe that state and local governments make better decisions on the local use of tax dollars. All tax dollars sent to Washington that come back to the states have strings attached and are subject to a “bureaucracy tax” that keeps a portion in Washington
